The Learning Enhancement Center uses NeuroNet Therapy, and Ortho-bionomy techniques to "re-program" the neurological and neuromuscular system.
NeuroNet Therapy exercises look similar to aerobics exercise. The Therapy integrates balance, movement, listening, speech and vision simultaneously. with speech patterns and mental calculations corresponding to body movements. Although the NeuroNet Therapy exercises are not academic in nature, they are effective in integrating areas of the brain which are critical for learning. The purpose of the program is to change how children learn, not just what they know. Children who have participated in this program have shown considerable improvements in areas of attention, memory and learning.
The Readiness Program builds the foundation for learning. Although some of the exercises may seem simple, they are crucial for building the neurological connections.
The Enrichment Program helps children and adults to improve their existing skills in areas such as reading, language and math, and helps them to develop the tools they need for further learning. Sometimes proper body alignment inhibits body movement. Ortho-Bionomy techniques can be used to align the body thus enhancing NeuroNet Therapy results.
