The initial therapy program is set up at the Learning Enhancement Center and is designed to be performed at home. The parent and child will meet with the therapist biweekly or sometimes weekly to access the progress of the child. At each meeting the therapist will revise the program based on his/her progress
The therapy program requires the child along with the assistance of the parent, to complete a 20 minute session for 5 out of 7 days per week. The program must be done consistently, allowing only 2 skip days per week. The skip days may be taken either together or separately. Select exercises will require the assistance of both parents but can be done separately from the full routine.
Most children will complete the Learning Readiness program in 8 to 10 months and may show significant changes in 6 to 8 weeks. Progress varies by child and is measured on an individual basis.
